Why This Role Matters: This is a senior-level finance position based in either New York City or Norwalk, CT. The mission of this role is to lead and manage all of the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and management, with 10+ years of relevant experience. This role will be responsible for driving financial strategy and planning, overseeing and guiding long-term forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is positioned for growth in alignment with the organization’s gradual expansion.
The proposed annual salary range for this position is $147,000 - $160,000 based on a 40-hour work schedule. The final salary may vary depending on confirmed job-related skills and experience.
Onboarding Expectation: The anticipated start date is set for the Fall of 2025. There will be a comprehensive two-to-three-month onboarding and transition period that will take place in our Norwalk CT office in collaboration with our remote accounting team. Accommodations will be provided, if necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand.
The employee may be required to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel to other offices in CT, NYC, Washington, D.C. and MA may occasionally be required but will not be frequent.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: SWA has a hybrid work environment. The expectation is for an in-office presence full time for the full onboarding and transition; this period is anticipated to be at least 3-6 months. Work arrangements after this is to be coordinated with the CEO.
